Greetings!

Thank you for taking the time to answer the following questions. Doing so will confirm eligibility to participate in the study exploring the phenomenon of human contact with extraterrestrials and the development of psychic abilities post-contact.

The research study will include questions where the validity of responses rely on accuracy of memory recall, and therefore certain medical or mental health conditions that impact memory will disqualify participation. These questions are considered standard for human participant research. While they are related to content that is very personal and private, your responses will lend credibility to study outcomes, and all answers are confidential.

The initial screening process will be conducted in three parts. Part I will consist of questions that will initially qualify participants for the interview process of the study. A link to Parts II and III will be emailed to you once qualification is confirmed. Part II is a questionnaire called the Noetic Experience and Beliefs Scale (NEBS) that will gather information regarding your beliefs about topics related to paranormal phenomena.

Part III will be a checklist of psychic abilities and their descriptions that will ask you to select all those that you believe apply to you. Acquiring this information provides details about the participants and how they may or may not differentiate from one another. At the end of the checklist, there will be three additional questions related to your contact with ETs. This set of questions does not require responses, but will add to the richness of the data, should they relate to your experiences. 

Part I of the screening process will take approximately five minutes to complete. 
 
Are you 18+ years old?
Do you speak and read English fluently? 
Have you been admitted to an inpatient psychiatric care facility for mental health disorders in the past year?
Do you currently qualify for a mental health diagnosis that would include psychotic features, such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, or dissociative identity disorder?
Do you currently qualify for a medical or mental health diagnosis related to abuse of or addiction to substances (alcohol, illicit drugs, prescription drugs)?
Do you have a medical condition that affects your ability to recall memories accurately, like dementia or Alzheimer's Disease?
Have you experienced direct contact with beings, entities, or nonhuman intelligences whom you identify as not originating from earth and you would describe as aliens or extraterrestrials?
Is it your perception or belief that you developed psychic abilities because of your contact experience with extraterrestrial beings?
Are you able to recall your experiences without the aid of hypnosis, substances, or being in an altered state of mind?
